Tina Eats At A Japanese Restaurant

So I ate at this really nice Japanese restaurant in Midtown, Manhattan, New York City. The name of the restaurant is Yakiniki West which is located at 218 East 9th Street. The dish above was my favorite dish for the night ! The name of the dish is chicken tempura with veggies and lime on the side with sauce to dip the chicken in. I arrived into the restaurant with a sexy dress and heels on but had to remove my heels since in the Asian tradition you cannot wear shoes when entering a place (example : the house). I put my heels away in a shoe storage then headed on over to the table where I would eat at and sat on the floor/table, traditional style. I wanted to share all the amazing photos of the food so here they are.

This is raw eel. Now even though this was not my dish I tasted it anyway cause I was being nudged to taste it. It tasted good at first but the aftermath, meaning the after taste in my mouth wasn't so good. I'm not a fish/sea food type of person.

Overall I enjoyed myself. I had a lovely night ! The food was great but this Japanese restaurant was missing one dish on there menu which I really wanted which was chicken teriyaki ! I liked the chicken tempura but wish I could of had chicken teriyaki as well. I tried new types of Japanese food so I didn't mind. Lots of beer but I kept it casual with my favorite drink Sprite of course ! Lol ! After that I did drink liquor which was Vodka.

My New Fav. Dish : Boneless Chicken Breast

For my afternoon lunch today I ate boneless chicken breast. It tastes soooo good ! I will be eating some more later for dinner. I really love it ! 

This is the packaging it came in. Really cheap price ! I wish they put more in it, that's there scam to get people to buy more.

Chicken Breast Boneless Thin Sliced

I fried it using olive oil and used my fav. seasonings including flour to cook it. I used a baking flour which I don't really like but it's good for chicken or baking.

Now the reason I'm raving over this dish is because I never cooked this before so it was great trying something different. Look out for more fav. dishes from me !

Fried Dumplings, Spaghetti & Frankfurters

People find it hard to believe that I can cook, but when I do I make different foods and mix it up like this one. I just felt like I wanted dumplings with spaghetti and frankfurters(hot dogs).





I really love fried dumplin, anything boiled I don't really like to eat a lot only sometimes. Yes I know fried food is bad for you but I don't eat it everyday plus I always eat a side dish of vegetables with anything I eat. I've been eating less lately and I'm still the same weight as last year.

My Pizza

I made my own pizza, my first oven baked pizza. I baked it and it turned out good actually ! I'm so suprised. Look how yummy it looks !

Pretty Water

While grocery shopping I saw this water named Acqua Panna. What really got me to buy it was the packaging, it looks like a liquor/wine bottle. I love it ! I tasted/opened it for the first time yesterday. It's nice just water, they all taste the same to me except if boiled. Boiled water doesn't taste good. The Acqua Panna water seems like it has a little taste in it like a pinch of flavor. I can taste the difference between it and Poland Spring water that I usually drink. This water would be perfect for weddings, elegant dinners, special events...etc because of the packaging and if you want it like me. Also it is from Tuscanny, Italy so it's Italian water.

Grocery Shopping

So today I went grocery shopping ! I bought tons of food and this really cool looking water. I will update later or have a new post of everything I got.



Day 31

Virgin Coconut Oil

So I've had this Virgin Coconut Oil since around January 14 or January 15. It's been months now and I finally have my review on it.

So it's a organic solid virgin coconut oil and it smells really good ! What I really like about it is it that it's different than any other oil I've used since it's organic. My boyfriend has even tried to steal it away from me all for himself that goes to show that this really works ! Another great thing is that it is huge so it will last you a long time ! Give this a try if your interested in trying a new cooking oil and best of all it's organic ! I love organic products !

There is even a pint sized one for trial if you'd just like to try it out first.

Pizzas

This is my review on different pizza restaurants.

Papa Johns
I recently ordered from Papa Johns a couple days ago I got a large pizza that was very expensive. The only reason I ordered over the phone was because my internet wasn't working. There pizza size is the same size as a Dominoes pizza except Dominoes is less and the crust is better ! The crust on this pizza was too hard to chew. When I eat pizza I wanna eat everything so the crust was terrible.

Pizza Hut
Now Pizza Hut pizzas are way too small plus expensive, they would come 2nd expensive next to Papa Johns being the most expensive. There pizza is okay, it's cheesy but I don't remember it so it's not memorable.

Dominos
My favorite pizza restaurant to order from ! I love it because it's the cheapest and always has the best coupons on the site or on a coupon site. They deliver quickly and you can even have someone go there pay for it and they will deliver it to you. I did it when my hubby was out driving around so I asked him to buy me pizza, he was busy working but Dominoes still delivered it to me and my hubby paid for it. They have the best crust I've ever tasted and they have all types of different pizzas to choose from.

I can eat the Parmesan sandwich for breakfast, lunch and dinner ! My boyfriend even got angry cause I didn't give him any when I ordered. He was so upset over a freakkin sandwich ! lol That's how good it is !

Baskin Robbins

I went into Baskin Robbins thinking it was Dunkin Donuts lol I realized that Dunkin Donuts was right next to it but I had walked into the wrong one and bought something to eat so I just ate there. Here are some pictures of my yummy dessert.

There was even a Dunkin Donuts coffee picture on the window so I'm guessing Dunkin Donuts is partnered with Baskin Robbins or maybe they own them.

Food : Chicken & Broccoli w/ White Rice & Chicken Wings

My delicious dinner lastnight ! The sauce on the white rice is duck sauce and the drink I had was pepsi. I had so much more to eat since I ordered a large, this is the best combo ever !
